Reciprocity / Traveling Work
As a traveling worker, whether you are a member of Central Laborers’ Funds or a worker traveling in from elsewhere, there are steps you need to take to ensure your hours/contributions are transferred back to your home fund. In order for the transfer to happen the outside must have an agreement in place with Central Laborers’ Funds. Here is a list of Funds that we currently have agreements with. Instructions for members and non-members are outlined below, click a title to expand the content.
Central Laborers’ Members Working Outside of Central Laborers’ Jurisdiction
As a
Central Laborers member, it is your responsibility to do all the following to
ensure that your hours/contributions are transferred back to Fund:
1.
Find out
which Local's jurisdiction you will be working in.

Your
employer should have this information.
o You can alsoclick here to find the Local in the area you're working in.
2.
Follow
the guidelines to get cleared in.
3.
Complete
all Reciprocity/Travel Forms.
o
Find
the Local you are working for below to identify the Outside Fund(s) that they
are a part of.ÂThen either call and
request a form or click the link if available.
o
Download
our Transfer Consent Form and submit it to [somewhere]
4.
Complete
the [Pension Fund Form] and submit it [somewhere].
